Nice sketch. For the purpose of the function of your driller to be understood here I think you should pull back a bit and show the legs/drillers interfacing with the ground plane. Also it looks very stationary, what happened to the treads that help it move? You could also add a few transport trucks in the FG heading out after being filled up. Overall it is a little heavy on the sci-fi and lacks realism and functionality, nice sketch for another project though. Think about where this thing is, desert, city etc. then time of day, then paint. I cannot place the location or time of day or even if this is earth, again nice sketch. Try again with a more thought out drawing as the basis including the functional aspects of your scenario being depicted in the color sketch. Save this sketch as a "thematic quickie."
